Our quartz watches have quartz movements while our automatic watches feature automatic or mechanical movements. 

  • In quartz movements, a battery powers the watch.
  • In mechanical / automatic LIV watches, a mechanical movement utilizes energy from a wound spring to power the watch. (The spring stores energy and transfers it through  gears and springs, regulating the release of energy).

Some countries charge an import duty for purchasing an item from overseas; we wish we had the power to eliminate that tax or charge, but unfortunately, we don't. That's why we offer free shipping to international fans, to offset the cost of duties that they may be charged. Based on reports from current LIV watch owners, minimal customs charges are imposed on LIV Watches when entering their respective countries. How do I purchase Mulberry Extended Protection?

It’s as easy as adding Mulberry Extended Protection to your cart with your watch products and checking out. Once you purchase coverage, you will immediately receive a welcome email from Mulberry with access to your dedicated Mulberry dashboard, which you can use to manage your plan, file a claim and contact their team. 


How do I file a claim?

Simply log in to your dedicated Mulberry dashboard at getmulberry.com/login for a 1-click, receiptless claims filing process. You can also contact the Mulberry customer support team via support@getmulberry.com


What happens if I return or exchange my LIV Watches products?

Each Mulberry Extended Protection plan is tied to the specific product with which it was purchased. This means when you return or exchange your product, you will also need to cancel the warranty with Mulberry (and purchase a new plan if you prefer). 

Be careful not to change the day or date on your mechanical movement between the hours of 8:00 PM and 2:00 AM. Rapid date correction during this time period can damage the calendar mechanism.


After setting the time, be sure to push the crown all the way in, and screw it down completely. Loose lips may sink ships (a WWII slogan) but loose crowns will sink your watch allowing water or moisture to enter the case.

For maximum battery life on your quartz chronograph, do not leave the chrono function running continuously. Use, reset, turn off. Leaving a mechanical chrono running will use up all the power reserve after you take your watch off.

Be sure to keep your masterpiece clean following our simple care rules:

  • Use mild cleaning agents, soft brushes, microfiber or cotton cloths, and no running water.
  • Special note for saltwater divers - clean off saltwater as soon as possible to limit corrosion potential.

  • It is good practice to keep your LIV watches away from strong magnetic sources. While ill-effects (erratic timekeeping, weird displays, and so forth) aren't a certainty, it is a good idea to avoid such exposure. Show off your LIV masterpiece outside the collider.
  • Your LIV timepiece is rugged, not indestructible. Hard impacts, contact with abrasive materials, exposure to solvents, and so forth can damage your watch's case finish, sapphire crystal, strap/bracelet, and movement. 


Here’s the drill to return your bronze to a like-new appearance.  Before you get started, remove the strap and make sure that the crown is fully closed. Since you'll be using water, you don't want any moisture getting in and damaging the internal precision parts.

  • Step 1: Take the watch head, immerse it in warm water, and place it to the side.
  • Step 2:Create a cleaning paste by mixing two tablespoons of baking powder with lemon juice.
  • Step 3: Cover the bronze-titanium with the paste and rub it in using a toothbrush to get to hard-to-reach spots. If you don't have a toothbrush, no worries, you could just use your fingers.
  • Step 4: Let the watch sit in the paste for about 20 minutes.
  • Step 5: Rinse the paste off with warm water, and then use a microfiber cloth to dry the watch thoroughly. And check that out, what a bronze beauty!

Our five year international warranty covers all manufacturing flaws.  If there's an issue with your watch, we can service it.  No matter the problem our in-house master watchmaker can inspect and bring your LIV back to life.

Our mechanical movements are exceptionally rugged. Still, even the finest mechanism can benefit from some fine-tuning. To maintain your warranty, we recommend you send your mechanical automatic watch to LIV for an overhaul every 20-24 months.

Let LIV replace the battery for you! We recommend fans send their watches to us to replace the battery.  Sure, changing a battery isn't rocket science. However, opening the case back can damage (even imperceptibly) the gasket and compromise the water resistance.  It will also void our warranty.
