Deployant Buckle

New deployment buckle and canvas strap have been great to give my LIV a more casual look. Highly recommend.

Hello, first I want to say since receiving my LIV GX1 Cool Grey-Limited Edition watch, I am truly impressed with the craftsmanship and attention to detail. Being a "Watch Freak", this is a great addition to my collection. With my purchase, I also bought the optional Grey and Black silicone band and the Deployant Buckle for it. Having other watches that have similar buckles I figured this would be a great option for the silicone band. Once opening the package and removing the plastic protection pieces from the buckle, I was able to see how it attaches. Being a student of Horology, and having the necessary tools to attach my new buckle, this was an easy task for me, but, for anyone else, I would highly recommend having a watchsmith do it for you. Now, once attached, it took a couple attempts to get it positioned where I wanted and to be able to do it smoothly. Additionally, it takes up some space between the watch face and your wrist, and you will feel the metal portion of the buckle, which to some, may take some getting used too. Also, when fastening the buckle, you will have to go up one adjustment hole from which you normally would fasten with the Tang Buckle, which is replace with your new Deployant Buckle. Once you accomplish all of this, the Deployant Buckle works well, again, if you have never used a buckle like this, it will take some time to become use to it. A suggestion to LIV if I may, would to extend the upper and lower portion of the clasp so it would fit better to a person's wrist. Hope this was helpful, and LIV..ON!!
