Having worn this every day since it arrived, I can honestly say it is the best watch I've owned to date. It is accurate, and not overly heavy. I have a small wrist yet it fits perfectly. In terms of someone just starting to get into higher-end watches, I only have a basic Tag-Huer Chronograph watch. I still like that watch but I found I wore it less as the months went by and then simply stopped wearing it. The original bracelet didn't feel right on my skin and when I went with a SS bracelet, it was only OK until my body temp got warmer, and then it was tight.
The other is an older 2015 M8 and it's heavier than I had anticipated. But that's not what made me stop wearing it. It would randomly be off by up to 30 min while still on my wrist. In retrospect to the LIV P-51, the self-winding pendulum is far too light; on a good spin, it can got about 4 maybe 5 revolutions. The LIV... I count in seconds like 10 seconds ... there's no comparison!
The LIV's bracelet, black Italian leather, is actually remarkable; the sides are very smooth, almost like flexible plastic so nothing will fray and it's comfortable to wear all day long regardless of my own body temperature.
Finally, the look. I think I look at the time more than my computer or smartphone because it's just beautiful. Just the right amount of color without shouting out but enough to keep me looking at it and admiring all the details. Thanks again to Chaz and Team LIV!
