The New LIV GX1 – True Perfection

The New LIV GX1 – True Perfection

As a direct to fan brand, we work ceaselessly to build a direct connection with everyone who purchases our timepieces. Oh, we’re not pushy, we let our fans decide how involved they want to with the maker of their watches.

One way we forge this connection is by seeking, and then using, fan input concerning their watches and what they want to see changed, added, improved, and so forth.

A case in point is the original GX1. Yes, it was a smashing success, and the fans showered accolades on the watch. They loved it. It was a real tip of the hat to the design we picked for our flagship timepiece.

But perfection is elusive, and fans let us know some things they’d change if it was up to them. On the wish list was:

  • Larger lume indexes
  • A colored accent line and outer ring on the 1/100th of a second subdial
  • Redesign the concave ring for a more open look
  • A tighter-lined sunburst pattern, giving the dial a more 3D feel
As we should, we incorporated these suggestions, and the result was incredible! Who says you can’t improve on perfection?

The GX1 gone wild
As in the flagship model, this new hunk will endure through thick and thin with its anti-reflective and scratch resistant sapphire crystal, screw-down crown, and case back, and 300 M water resistance. It also features the same precision Swiss RONDA startech Caliber 5040.D movement.
The upgraded, uniquely designed three-dimensional multilayered dial of the new GX1 is a head turner, and since it's not mass produced (we serialize each watch with a unique number on the back), it stands out in the crowd. That’s the beauty of an internationally curated designed make better by fan input, a unique piece of horological art that is truly a one in a million.
Where to next?
We continue to craft and introduce new models with different but just as unique designs. As that process continues, where will the GX1 go next? In large measure, that’s up to our fans. You spoke, we listened, and the second generation of the GX1 was born. We think it is a winning combination.
