100% Swiss Made. Caliber 5040.D, 13 Jewel gold plated Swiss 1/10th of a second chronograph with date, fully adjustable hands, 3-5 year battery life, with EOL indicator.

EOL stands for End Of Life indicator. This is the function showing when the battery of the movement needs to be changed.

The seconds hand will then remain still for five seconds and jump to the next minute marker, and repeat that pattern until the battery is changed.

Case & Crown

The dark case is the reason the turquoise reads as loud as it does. Set that dial in bare steel and it softens; set it in black IP over three pieces of surgical grade 316L stainless steel and it raises its voice. The bezel is knurled in LIV's machine-cut pattern with exposed screws, a tool-watch detail rather than a dress-watch one.

The Swiss caliber 5040.D sits behind a screw-down case-back, and the crown screws down as well, carrying the LIV logo enamel inlay. Sealed at both ends, the GX1 goes to 200 meters, 660 feet.

The GX1 Ocean Blue runs a four-part multi-layer 3D dial, finished with a ribbed sunburst center, white numerals at 12, 3, 6 and 9, and hand-applied polished indexes at the remaining hours.

Steel sword-shaped hour and minute hands carry BGW9 Swiss Luminova, as do the applied indexes, so the dial stays readable once the light drops. An orange central chronograph hand sweeps three recessed registers, with an orange marker below 12 and the date at 4 o'clock behind a steel window frame.

    GX1 Ocean Blue

    Watch arrived yesterday in super quick time to the UK and as soon as i opened the box i was totally blown away, the ocean blue colour is even better in real life and looks amazing on my wrist, will definitely be buying another watch as already have the GX1 Silver Panda and want to build my LIV watch collection. Already had loads of compliments on the Ocean Blue.
