From Vision to Reality: The Unconventional Journey of our First Watch Design

When we decided to build LIV, we had a clear vision–let's create a brand that would do everything differently. We wanted to do everything the legacy brands wouldn't dare to do. So, our first challenge was the design. I had a vision of what I wanted the watch to look like, but the problem was that I'm not a watch designer.
Who will the watch designer be?
Our goal was first to find and then hire a designer that would sit with me for months or maybe years trying to come up with that perfect design for the first LIV watch.
But could that designer actually create something I had envisioned and described? Even if I lay out my idea with precise detail, would that translate to the perfect first LIV watch? To me, that sounded really old-school and NOT very efficient.
So, sticking to the theme that LIV must do things differently, we sat around for two weeks and banged our heads together until we came up with something so unique that no other brand has EVER done–let's do a design challenge!
