Flown by Colonel James D. Mayden, commanding officer of the famed 352nd Fighter Group in World War II, the original “StrawBoss” had already carved its place in the skies before disaster struck. After the first aircraft was lost in an accident, Mayden refused to let the spirit of his trusted machine fade.

A new Mustang rolled onto the airfield: sleek, lethal, and waiting to be claimed. With a stroke of determination, he christened it “StrawBoss 2”—a resurrection of both name and purpose, a symbol that neither setbacks nor war could silence.

    detailed craftsmanship throughout

    Every detail about this watch is well done. The dials are precise and everything is well defined and sharp. An excellent watch in every detail!!!! The leather strap really accents the watch.
