A CELEBRATORY PIECE

The Saturn V Moon Dust is a tribute to NASA’s audacity to build the Saturn V, the most magnificent, outrageous rocket. We wanted something truly celebratory but with attitude and ruggedness, and what we got was a fantastic 42MM Swiss automatic cased in bronze titanium or surgical grade 316L stainless steel. It's just that perfect size for those that like their watch in a small to medium look. It features a double sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating and, simply put, makes time pop.

SWISS AUTOMATIC

A mechanical watch movement is one of the most extraordinary marvels of the last 200 years. With close to 100 tiny, precise parts, all work in harmony to give that perfect motion of time. The automatic oscillating rotor makes sure your watch is always full wound, and the accuracy is impressive at +/- five seconds per day.

3D MULTI-LAYER DIAL

Through the LIV signature multi-layer/sandwich constructed dial, we see time in three dimensions. The dial consists of three layers, beginning with the base layer, known as the foundation, which has a deep sunburst center. The second layer houses the applied BGW9 indexes and the stenciled numbers that reveal the color or luminescent numerals. And the concave ring sits at the edge, completing this classic.

SATURN V INSPIRED ELEMENTS

How do you properly commemorate something as colossal as the Saturn V in a timepiece? What elements of the Saturn V launch vehicle could be realistically adapted to grace a quality timepiece? Inspired by the final four-part (or module) construction of the Saturn V launch vehicle, we created our own four-part system: case back, case, anodized aluminum ring, and bezel. Other Saturn V-inspired elements include the use of bronze and titanium space-age materials, Saturn V F1 engine impression crown, and of course, the moondust surface dial.

READY FOR ANYTHING

The Saturn V Moon Dust is water-resistant up to 100 meters or 330 feet and includes a screw-down crown for extra protection. There's an abundance of different straps available, from full-grain leather to 316L stainless steel bracelets, plus rubber and canvas. There are plenty of options to dress up your Saturn V Moon Dust.

BRONZE AND TITANIUM

The Bronze version of the Moon Dust is mixed titanium instead of steel. That's because titanium does not react at all with human tissue, is almost impossible to corrode, and provides additional benefits in an ultra-fine-grained alloy that includes increased wear resistance, strength, and antibacterial properties. The end result is the cool factor of patina with the anti-reactive properties of titanium.
