NEW! GRAVEL NORDIC CAMO AUTO

I'm a long time owner and collector of many high end brands - I have dozens of Panerai, Breitling, Omega and high-end Seiko. But I've always appreciated boutique brands that can express their creativity without Richemont looking over their shoulder, and often charge much less to boot. I wasn't sure about LIV having never really heard of them before. But I recognize the movements they use, and respect their choice of materials and most importantly like the design. The snow camo Gravel sealed the deal for me - there's nothing else like it in my collection.

The first thing I noticed is how well it wears. The lugs are slender and curved inward nicely on a large case - so it has great wrist presence without feeling like a Mickey Mouse alarm clock strapped to your wrist. Some of my 47mm Panerai do feel that way. You barely notice this is there - the weight is perfect, and the strap conforms to my wrist nicely.

The lume is a great color but I wish it lasted longer. It isn't quite Superluminova II, but it's bright while it lasts.

I believe the strap was meant to be quick release, but I don't see the pin pushers inside the slots. So this might be a bit difficult to change. I have strap change tools and do it often, but this composite material gives me a little bit of pause when it comes to digging at it with a forked tool.
