While the P-51 Mustang is a legend of the skies, one specific aircraft stands as the gold standard for power and beauty: the P-51D "Goldfinger." A veteran of the Texas Air National Guard and later a star in the film 'Battle Hymn', this particular Mustang (N882) earned its name through its breathtaking, polished-metal finish that gleams like liquid gold under the sun.     HIS AND HERS P-51s

    I purchased a Goldfinger (His) about a week ago.

    When it arrived I showed it to my wife and she said I WANT ONE.!!!!!

    So of course I jumped at the chance to make her happy.

    (Hers) came in yesterday and you bet she is ecstatic.!!!!

    As am I.!!!!

    Great Addition to My P-51 Collection

    I just received the latest addition to my LIV Collection...the P-51 Pilot Goldfinger.

    While I prefer the larger sizes this one is perfect...and with the croco embossed leather strap with

    the rivets at the ends the only way to describe it is WOW!

    And Thanks Ernest for obtaining # 21 for me...my birthday!
