While the P-51 Mustang is a legend of the skies, one specific aircraft stands as the gold standard for power and beauty: the P-51D "Goldfinger." A veteran of the Texas Air National Guard and later a star in the film 'Battle Hymn', this particular Mustang (N882) earned its name through its breathtaking, polished-metal finish that gleams like liquid gold under the sun.
