100% Swiss Made. Caliber 5040.D, 13 Jewel gold plated Swiss 1/10th of a second chronograph with date, fully adjustable hands, 3-5 year battery life, with EOL indicator.

EOL stands for End Of Life indicator. This is the function showing when the battery of the movement needs to be changed.

The seconds hand will then remain still for five seconds and jump to the next minute marker, and repeat that pattern until the battery is changed.

Case & Crown

Gray is the right call for this one. A neutral case gives a multi-color dial room to work instead of arguing with it, so the three-piece build here is surgical grade 316L stainless steel infused with gray IP. The bezel is knurled in LIV's machine-cut pattern and locked down with exposed screws, a tool-watch detail rather than a dress-watch one.

Two seals handle the water: a screw-down case-back over the Swiss caliber 5040.D, and a screw-down crown carrying the LIV logo enamel inlay. That pairing is what puts 200 meters, 660 feet, behind a chronograph this size.

Hand-applied indexes and steel sword-shaped hands are filled with BGW9 Swiss Luminova, so the dial still resolves cleanly once the light drops. The chronograph registers are recessed into the dial, with the date window alongside them.

    Just buy one!

    At the risk of having them raise the prices before I buy another watch, this may be the best quality, product and presentation I’ve seen shy of heirloom pieces exponentially more expensive. I bought this as a toy for the woods, but I’m blown away and drastically underestimated what I’d receive. This goes wherever I do. Chaz monitors quality closely and as a customer, I’m tickled at what I received. No aspect of my experience falls below 5 stars, from the purchase to the product. Do yourself a favor and stop lurking. You’ll be a LIV fan, too.

    Awesome watch!

    Aesthetically, this piece is spot on. All of the colors on the dial coordinate very well. Watch is heavy and solid which is what I love most. Two things I think could be improved on are the metal bracelet does not match the watch exactly and the metal bracelet could be smoother and quieter.

    Built Well

    I usually wear a submariner but this LIV is awesome and I haven’t worn my other watch in weeks. You can tell by the weight alone this is a sick watch.
