EOL stands for End Of Life indicator. This is the function showing when the battery of the movement needs to be changed.

The seconds hand will then remain still for five seconds and jump to the next minute marker, and repeat that pattern until the battery is changed.

The GX1 Cactus Gray runs a four-part multi-layer 3D dial in a muted cactus gray, with a ribbed center, hand-applied indexes, and brushed rings around the subdials at 6 and 9 o'clock.

Rather than the steel hands used across the rest of the line, this one gets black sword-shaped hands that read against the case and the matching black IP bracelet, with BGW9 Swiss Luminova sitting in the hand-applied indexes. The chronograph registers are recessed into the dial, with the date window alongside them.

This crystal is crafted from high-grade sapphire and features a scratch-resistant coating on the outside as well as an anti-reflective coating on the inside. Flawless legibility, built to last.
