The Gravel Ocean Blue brings depth to the trail. A deep ocean blue dial anchors the watch, lit by heat-treated blue hands and matching heat-treated blue indexes that shift with the light as the wrist turns. It sits in an ultralight, round case of Rugged Dense Carbon® that shrugs off the day and barely registers on the wrist. Inside, a 26-jewel Swiss automatic movement is wrapped in shock-resistant technology, so the precision you can see through the skeleton caseback keeps running no matter where you take it. This is my fifth LIV watch and second Gravel. The addition of the screw down crown, in my opinion, make this watch confidently live up to the ruggedness I would expect.
The blued hands and markers are quite striking.
I’m a lume guy, so I’d like to see the lume last longer than it does.
Now I’ll be torn between my ocean blue diver and this one.
