In the course of collecting over the years, I have acquired a number of interesting watches and have more recently become intrigued with the micro brand market. As such, it was inevitable that I would come across Liv. The conundrum is that I really didn't need another watch and each one now gets harder to justify. In any case, the Liv GX-AC kept catching my attention and I finally jumped on one. Now with watch in hand, I have absolutely zero regrets. This duplicates nothing in my collection, traditional Swiss or micro brand. The design language with the GX-AC is strong and unique but nowhere near as flashy, in a good way, as I thought it might be. Its just a well executed design and a fun watch to wear, from the quality catchy strap, to the unique hand and dial design, to the certified accuracy which is generally unheard of, at least with the other micro brands that I own. To anyone contemplating one of these watches, I find it hard to believe you would be anything but impressed, as am I. I should also mention that Liv as a company was a pleasure to deal with, from the online informative chat I had to the rapid delivery to the quality of the packaging and presentation, This is a company that clearly cares about the impression they make and in serving the watch enthusiast with a quality timepiece and ownership experience.
